Goals: Reduce reflux and heartburn, prevent cardiovascular disease, improve overall health.
Office notes: Nutrition f/u today, 2-26-07: (Initial consult was 12-05-06): Male client, age: 37. Original goals: cardiovascular prevention and improve overall health. Has had GERD since about 18 yrs of age.
He is doing much better since his initial appointment. Feels stronger, better energy, sleeps better, headaches are gone or much reduced, has decreased his coffee intake from 3/day to 3/week (works out in the morning instead of drinking coffee, and doesn't feel the need for caffeine with the extra energy he has), reflux is gone, joint pain also gone. He attributes this to a dramatic change in his diet. He was not interested in wt loss, because he is at his ideal body wt, but his food intake was causing him to feel lousy.
