Goals: Reduce blood pressure medications.
Office Notes: Follow-up provided today, 3-14-07 from his initial consult on 12-15-06. He is much improved. His main goals were to reduce his stress and anxiety, and try to reduce his blood pressure. (He was recently placed on atenolol, for hypertension.) He stated today that he has reduced his medication from 100 mg/day to 50 mg/day (takes 25 mg a.m. and p.m.). Blood pressure now remains consistent around 110/58.
Statement from client: "Although my stress level has increased at work, I am actually feeling calmer and better able to deal with it. Your nutrition program has helped increase my confidence in my health, I feel better, stronger, and that I am well taken care of. I am also taking my fish oils and supplements that you recommended. And a bonus – I have not experienced any more anxiety attacks since starting on the plan."
